According to CoinMeta, Itaú (Ita) – Brazil’s largest bank – has joined a pilot project involving over 50 financial institutions to test the issuance, trading, and settlement of tokenized fixed-income securities and investment funds. In a statement on August 11, Itaú stated that the project aims to drive the digital transformation of the financial market.
