According to CoinMeta, Crypto.com announced the launch of tokenized stock derivatives services that track 1,500 U.S. stocks and ETF (including Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla, as well as gold and silver ETF, etc.). This product is issued by Foris Capital CY Limited and is intended to provide exposure for compliant users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and other approved markets. Crypto.com clearly states that such products are derivatives; holders do not enjoy the legal ownership, voting rights, or other shareholder benefits of the underlying securities, but they can receive adjusted earnings equivalent to dividends. The underlying assets are held by a U.S. broker, Alpaca.
