Wize has reached a cooperation with SBI VC Trade to introduce 66,000 SOL to verification nodes

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coinpost, Japanese listed company Wize announced that it has reached a cooperation with SBI Holdings's subsidiary SBI VC Trade. Approximately 66,000 SOL tokens stored on that exchange will be brought into its own verification nodes for operation. This collaboration breaks the limitation under traditional exchange custody models where users find it difficult to specify verification nodes. While maintaining the secure custody of SBI VC Trade, it also achieves dual benefits: users holding SOL tokens can not only receive the original staking rewards but also earn verification node rewards. With the addition of these self-held tokens and increased external commissions, the scale of Wize's verification nodes has grown from about 92,000 on July 31, 2026, to about 210,000 on August 10, more than doubling in size.
