Hyperliquid seeks CFTC's approval to enter the US perpetual futures market

According to CoinMeta, Hyperliquid (cryptocurrency: $HYPE) is exploring ways to enter the US perpetual futures market, and its policy team is pressing federal regulators to establish rules that would incorporate on-chain derivatives into a regulated domestic framework. With the Senate voting on the Clearing House Act postponed, this decentralized exchange hopes to find a way through existing regulatory authorities rather than waiting for broader crypto legislation. Hyperliquid currently does not provide a trading platform for US users. Hyperliquid, the CEO of the policy center, Jake Chervinsky, stated that the goal is to get regulators to interpret existing rules favorably or to establish new rules that would allow regulated companies to use the market built with Hyperliquid.
