According to CoinMeta, SEC has recently relaxed the storage rules from the 1940s, allowing Franklin Templeton's blockchain funds to enter traditional mutual funds. The rules for storing paper certificates in physical vaults are no longer deemed necessary. Franklin's $726 million blockchain currency fund, Benji, will benefit from this approval, and traditional Franklin funds will be able to achieve faster transaction processing and more frequent pricing through blockchain.
