According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Defiant, the founder of the Bitcoin swap service provider Boltz has withdrawn from the project, and an anonymous group of senior Bitcoin enthusiasts has taken over the suspended swap service. The new operators are investigating and fixing vulnerabilities with the goal of restoring the exchange function as soon as possible. Boltz suspended its services on August 3rd; in the months prior, the company suffered losses due to AI auxiliary attacks, but user funds were not affected.
