US PPI data exceeds expectations, inflationary pressures ease

According to CoinMeta, as reported by CryptoMichNL, the U.S. Producer Price Index ( PPI ) data shows a year-on-year increase of 4.7%, which is lower than the expected 4.9%. The month-on-month increase was 0.0%, also below the expected 0.2%. The core PPI year-on-year increase was 4.2%, in line with expectations, while the month-on-month increase was 0.2%, lower than the expected 0.3%. This indicates that inflationary pressures are easing, and the market has responded positively. The yield on two-year Treasury bonds has shown a downward trend for the first time since March 2026, indicating a positive market signal.
