According to CoinMeta, stablecoin issuer RedotPay has postponed its planned $1 billion US IPO issuance due to legal issues, with no expected launch before 2027. A spokesperson for RedotPay stated that the company will continue to focus on global compliance and business growth, and that it obtained a money transfer license in the United States this week, preparing to launch its product there. RedotPay is facing a $470 million lawsuit from Binance, accusing it of poaching approximately 470,000 users under their agreement. The company reported 8.5 million users and annual revenue of $180 million in the second quarter.
