According to CoinMeta, Cursor's first Compile conference announced several major products, including a self-developed large model with 1.5 trillion parameters and the Git platform Origin. At the same time, SpaceX officially announced a full-stock acquisition of Cursor's parent company Anysphere for a valuation of 60 billion US dollars. Cursor is evolving from traditional IDE auxiliary tools to a AI native software engineering platform, with a focus on developing a 1.5 trillion parameter general-purpose base model. CEO Michael Truell pointed out that this model performs exceptionally well in over 10 fields. Additionally, Cursor's GitHub competitor Origin was unexpectedly opened to some users, supporting one-click imports from GitHub repositories, automatic resolution of merge conflicts, and global synchronization in less than 400 milliseconds. A single repository can process about 22 commits per second, which is approximately 296,000 clones per hour. However, this opening seemed to be an accident, as Cursor later notified users that this was only an early preview of Origin, and the entry point has now been re-closed.
