Zach Pandl: ETH and SOL plans to reduce inflation rates or support prices
2026-08-14 21:29:58
According to CoinMeta, as stated by Zach Pandl, the research director at AICoin, Ethereum and the Solana community are discussing adjustments to the token economy model. These changes could potentially reduce the annual inflation rates of ETH and SOL. In a grayscale estimation, if these adjustments are implemented, the annual inflation rate for ETH is expected to drop to around 0.4% by the end of 2031, and for SOL to around 1.1%. Pandl points out that the likelihood of implementing these proposals related to Solana is higher. A reduction in supply may increase scarcity and put upward pressure on prices, which could benefit holders of unpledged ETH and SOL.
