Strategy Voices Concerns over Potential Delisting of MSCI; Norway Increases Holdings in MSTR
2026-08-15 03:42:04
According to CoinMeta, Strategy regarding MSCI proposed that it might be removed from the index and issued a statement stating that digital assets should be considered assets, arguing that index providers should focus on measuring the market rather than deciding which assets companies can hold. The Norwegian sovereign wealth fund increased its holdings of Strategy shares by approximately $357.27 million through Norges Bank Investment Management. The deadline for feedback on this proposal is September 30th, and MSCI plans to announce the results on October 16th; any changes will take effect during the index review in November 2026.
