According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Cointelegraph, a research report from Binance indicates that Generation Z traders on the platform are shifting their stock trading activities towards ETF. At the beginning of August, ETF accounted for 25% of the total trading volume of this group. In July, ETF accounted for 21.9% of the net capital inflow into stocks for Generation Z, up from 18.5% in June, with the proportion of funds flowing into individual stocks decreasing from 77% to 74.2%. The study examined trading activities in direct stocks, tokenized stocks, and traditional financial perpetual contracts, and compared Generation Z accounts with those of millennials, Generation X, and the baby boomer generation in terms of trading frequency, net capital inflow, and leverage usage. Among all three products, the younger generation has a lower trading frequency than other age groups within the working population.
