According to CoinMeta, Broadcom closed down nearly 6% on Friday. Analysts at Bank of America estimate that by the middle of 2029, the cumulative preferred debt built by Broadcom for customers of its AI chips will reach $370 billion, with an additional issuance of about $150 billion in 2027. Broadcom has provided guarantees for the lease payments of some customers, with the first transaction guaranteeing approximately $29 billion. This financing model is led by Apollo Global Management and Blackstone Group, providing $35 billion in funds for Broadcom's AIXPV platform, with the initial funds supporting the construction of over 1 gigawatt of computing power for Anthropic.
