According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. government is putting pressure on Apple to stop purchasing memory chips from China. Despite the pressure, Apple may continue to test chips from China, namely CXMT and YMTC, due to a shortage of AI drivers that has led to soaring prices. Apple's Chief Operating Officer stated that the shortage is very serious, "We must consider all options."
