According to CoinMeta, Binance founder CZ stated that as of August 2026, over 20.07 million Bitcoins have been mined, with only about 4.4% of the total supply remaining to be mined. Among the existing Bitcoins, 10-20% are considered lost, stuck, or unrecoverable, hence Bitcoin is regarded as a deflationary asset.
