According to CoinMeta, Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed an agreement on shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz with Oman. The two parties reached the agreement independently, without the United States participating in the negotiations, and a joint statement is still being drafted. Iran stated that it will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until the United States "corrects its violations" and meets Tehran's conditions. This confirmation comes amidst a situation where 65 vessels have been attacked and 17 sailors have been killed in the war, with Trump threatening to declare the Strait of Hormuz American territory.
