According to CoinMeta and OneMillion.AI, the development of computing power in Europe is lagging behind. Mistral plans to achieve 1GW of computing power by 2030, while Meta is expected to reach 14GW next year. Mistral aims to achieve 200MW of computing power by the end of 2027 and is therefore signing long-term computing power contracts with European companies such as ASML and CMA CGM. In contrast, American companies like Meta are expected to reach 7GW this year and will double to 14GW by 2027. OpenAI has already secured over 10GW of US AI infrastructure and has added another 3GW in the past 90 days. Anthropic has signed long-term computing power agreements of up to 5GW with Amazon and Google, and plans to provide nearly 1GW of computing power by the end of this year.
