Charles Hoskinson releases open-source project Anthropies to address watermark issues

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that the founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, has released an open-source project called Anthropies. This project aims to develop a tool that can be used in conjunction with most LLM to handle watermarks and related markings in Anthropics / Claude outputs. According to the project description, the tool distinguishes between three types of information: statistical watermarks in text, C2PA content credentials in images, and co-authored-by in Git submissions. The latter two types can be directly removed, while text watermarks are dealt with by rewriting the content using a non-original model to weaken the statistical signals. Hoskinson also raises questions regarding potential copyright and attribution issues that may arise from these watermarks and joint signatures. The project notes that it cannot guarantee complete avoidance of Anthropics's unpublicized detection mechanisms.
