According to CoinMeta, Israel's economy rebounded in the second quarter, with GDP growing at an annual rate of 15.4%, higher than the median forecast of 8.3% from Bloomberg's survey. Previously, economic contraction occurred due to military actions with Iran, and in the first quarter, GDP shrank by 2.2% after adjustment. Exports of goods and services increased by 35.2%, government consumption grew by 19.5%, private consumption by 14.7%, and fixed capital formation by 6.3%. The chief strategist at Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, Yonie Fanning, stated that consumer spending will be an important driving force for the economic rebound.
