According to CoinMeta, over $300 million in stolen funds belonging to Coinbase users have been transferred again. Analysis indicates that approximately $500,000 was recently converted into Ethereum and sent to Tornado Cash, while tens of millions of dollars remain in wallets associated with the threat actors. This transfer has drawn attention as the funds originated from social engineering scams targeting Coinbase users, where scammers impersonated customer service to obtain user credentials. Despite the large scale of the theft, tens of millions of dollars are still waiting to be moved in the relevant wallets.
