According to CoinMeta, the stock price of Netflix has fallen by 42% recently, dropping from its historical high, which has caused concern among investors. Famous investor Bill Ackman has added 3.15 million shares of Netflix to his portfolio through his hedge fund Pershing Square Capital Management, accounting for 4.9% of his investment portfolio. In his investor letter in mid-2026, Ackman stated that Netflix had "effectively won the streaming war." Netflix currently has over 325 million paid users globally, nearly twice that of its nearest competitors. According to the financial report for the second quarter of 2026, Netflix reported sales of $12.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%. Management expects annual revenue growth to be between 13% and 14%. The gross margin of Netflix has been steadily rising, approaching 52% in the second quarter. Despite the slowdown in growth, the company is still actively expanding into new markets and is expected to continue to maintain strong financial performance in the future.
