Toyota Financial to Issue 1 Billion Yen Securities-Backed Token Bonds

According to CoinMeta, Toyota Finance, a subsidiary of Toyota Financial, has announced the issuance of securities-backed token bonds titled “Toyota Wallet” with a total amount of 1 billion yen. The bonds have a term of one year and a minimum subscription amount of 100,000 yen. Investors can apply directly through Toyota Wallet without the need to open a securities account. This is the first time that the Toyota Group has used an independent fundraising method to issue ST bonds, which utilize the blockchain platform Boostry consisting of iBet, for, and Fin.
