JPMorgan Chase: Demand for semiconductor equipment and materials has been comprehensively upgraded
2026-08-18 15:31:43
According to CoinMeta, as reported by A early in 2021, JPMorgan Chase pointed out in a research report on August 17 that TSMC raised its capital expenditure for 2026 to $64 billion, Intel to $20 billion, and SK Hynix planned 40 trillion Korean won. Tokyo Electron expects its revenue outlook for 2026 to rise to over $150 billion and to exceed $190 billion in 2027. It is predicted that growth in 2026 will exceed 20%, which is at least $14 billion. INP is shifting its substrate production capacity to 6 inches, having received five-year contract requests and upfront payments from customers. Samsung plans to allocate 60% to 70% of its production capacity to LTA. SK Hynix has signed 10 contracts, and Sandisk has signed 8. The research report concludes that the semiconductor equipment and materials cycle is shifting from volume expansion to a dual drive of both volume and price, and Japanese semiconductor and technology material companies are expected to be the main beneficiaries.
