This update comes as Anthropic prepares for its anticipated initial public offering (IPO). The company submitted a confidential prospectus to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in June and held preliminary meetings with potential investors, but has not yet provided a formal timeline for the listing. Anthropic also revealed that preliminary revenue for the second quarter was $11.5 billion, a 14-fold increase from the same period last year. The company has not commented on this.
