According to CoinMeta, DTCC has announced that it will launch its tokenization service within two months, expected to begin in October. Stocks from the Russell 1000 index, including NVIDIA ($NVDA), Apple ($AAPL), and Microsoft ($MSFT), will be eligible to be converted into blockchain-based tokens. This will allow institutions to tokenize stocks and transfer them between approved wallets 24/7 while maintaining the same ownership rights. Approximately 40 companies have participated in its successful pilot program, including JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Blackstone.
