2026-08-18 18:36:54
According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Block, Curve founder Michael Egorov stated that the regulatory pressure on DeFi will prompt the protocol to remove privileged access, upgrade risks, and the ability to interfere with users' funds. Last month, FATF released a report proposing to control tests to determine when anti-money laundering standards apply to DeFi. Currently, among 143 reporting jurisdictions, 132 have not yet applied the 15th recommendation to eligible DeFi arrangements, with only 2 jurisdictions having granted licenses or registrations for DeFi arrangements.
