2026-08-18 20:06:25
According to CoinMeta, Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE: CL) is generally overlooked by investors, despite its noteworthy performance in terms of dividends. The company has increased its dividends for 63 consecutive years without interruption since 1895. In 2026, Colgate raised its quarterly dividend to $0.53 per share, with an annualized payment of $2.12. Despite slow growth, Colgate still maintains a stable consumer base and possesses a well-known brand. The latest financial report shows that net sales in the second quarter increased by 4.9% year-on-year to $5.36 billion, and earnings per share from its core business grew by 8% to $0.99. Colgate generated $1.74 billion in operating cash flow in the first half of 2026 and paid out $879 million in dividends, indicating sufficient cash flow to support its dividend payments. Although Colgate's growth is limited, its stable brand and continuous cash flow make it attractive to dividend investors.
