According to CoinMeta, the price of Brent crude oil has broken through $91, and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil has also risen to $85, due to tensions in Iran that have fueled concerns about supply disruptions in the market. As negotiations between the United States and Iran have stalled, concerns about supply disruptions have intensified. On August 18, Brent crude oil rose by 0.3% to $91.14 per barrel, while WTI rose by 42 cents to $85.04. The International Energy Agency (IEA) stated that oil production in the Gulf region is still below pre-war levels, and it is expected that there will be a supply gap of 1.8 million barrels per day in the global market in the third quarter.
