According to CoinMeta, Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Ansaari stated that Qatar is promoting the resumption of negotiations between the United States and Iran and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Current diplomatic efforts are mainly focused on alleviating the crisis and preventing further escalation of tensions. Ansaari pointed out that the way to resolve the current crisis is to achieve a ceasefire between the US and Iran, ensure freedom of navigation, and facilitate a return to the negotiating table. Qatar and Pakistan previously participated in mediation, leading to a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, but due to the breach of the ceasefire, the relevant provisions were not fully implemented. Currently, Qatar is awaiting an agreement between Oman and Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz issue in order to advance the negotiation process and avoid further escalation of the situation.
