Bitfinex Analyst: Bitcoin's next major trend could be upward, but liquidity has not yet recovered
2026-08-19 02:07:26
According to CoinMeta, an analyst from Bitfinex stated that Bitcoin ($BTC) has remained stable above a median realization price of $63,200. The analyst views $67,176 as a breakout level that could increase the chances of upward movement. Although Bitcoin has maintained itself above this price over the past few weeks, weak demand for ETF and a decline in the supply of stablecoins have deprived potential rebounds of fresh liquidity. As of writing, Bitcoin was trading near $64,500. The analyst noted that if it cannot hold above $63,200, this trend could be weakened. Bitfinex also pointed out that if sellers break through the median realization price, the next major downward area would be $57,803.
