According to CoinMeta, as reported by Eleanor Terrett, the United States has officially proposed a new regulatory framework for crypto assets, allowing certain financing projects to raise up to $5 million over a period of four years, or $75 million per year, without the need for SEC registration. In addition, the proposal creates a conditional safe harbor that applies to certain crypto assets, where registration requirements will be pre-excluded after the issuer's basic management tasks are completed. The proposal is now in a 60-day comment period.
