According to CoinMeta, as Trump rules out peace talks with Iran, the price of BTC has broken through $64,847, and traders are assessing the impact of the tense situation between the US and Iran. Trump stated that "there are no negotiations or dialogues with Iran underway or planned," and emphasized that the US naval blockade is still in effect. Nevertheless, the rise in the price of BTC is accompanied by weak spot purchases and high funding rates. Currently, the 30-day average buying volume of BTC has dropped to $3.3 billion, indicating a weakening in market demand. Nonetheless, the funding rate for BTC has risen to its highest level in 20 months, suggesting that long positions dominate the perpetual contract market. The current challenge for BTC is whether it can remain above $64,000 amidst unstable geopolitical conditions.
