According to CoinMeta, analyst Joao Wedson pointed out that short-term holders are currently facing unrealized losses of about $9 billion. Even if the market continues to fall, they may not experience similar unrealized losses again as in February 2026. He believes this indicates that Bitcoin is forming a bottom structure, which may take several weeks to fully develop. Any further decline could simply be the market clearing out the remaining small excesses.
