According to CoinMeta, Chinese robotic manufacturer Unitree Robotics went public on the Shanghai Stock Market on Wednesday, with its stock price rising by 542% on the first day to reach 968.1 yuan, and it once touched 1100 yuan earlier. The company raised approximately 6.1 billion yuan (about 905 million US dollars) in its initial public offering (IPO) and received support from Chinese artificial intelligence company DeepSeek, which invested about 140.8 million yuan. Unitree Robotics's product line includes bipedal humanoid robots that can walk and manipulate objects flexibly, as well as quadrupedal robots for danger detection. Before going public, the company released a new type of humanoid robot called "Superman," claiming that it can jump two meters from a standing position and run at a speed of 12.66 meters per second. Morgan Stanley raised its forecast for the shipment volume of humanoid robots in China in June, expecting it to reach 50,000 units this year, which is nearly twice the previous forecast of 28,000 units.
