2026-08-19 13:27:31
According to CoinMeta, senior analysts Kirstine Kundby - Nielsen and chief analyst Jens Peter Sorensen from Danske Bank stated that the Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates once in December 2026 and again in March 2027 to address potential inflationary pressures. By then, the key policy rate is expected to rise to 4.00%-4.25%. They noted in their report: "We still believe that interest rate hikes could come sooner than anticipated, but the latest disappointing data has made the risk situation more balanced." The money market currently expects the Federal Reserve to raise rates by 23 basis points in December and a total of 33 basis points by March 2027.
