According to CoinMeta, Bybit prevented over $700 million in potential user losses in the first half of 2026. Following a $1.46 billion hacker attack in 2025, the platform expanded its real-time blockchain monitoring and AI assisted threat detection capabilities. The risk and security report for Bybit indicates that over 30,000 suspicious withdrawal requests were intercepted during this period, protecting nearly 20,000 users. The security team also identified approximately $212 million in funds that may be related to fraud and added over 10,000 malicious blockchain addresses to the blacklist. Bybit states that behavior analysis and monitoring supported by AI were used to detect transaction patterns associated with new fraudulent activities.
