According to CoinMeta, and based on Palestinian sources, Israeli forces carried out military operations in various locations on the West Bank of the Jordan River and in Jerusalem on the 19th, arresting at least 31 Palestinians, including Ashraf Awal, the Minister for Jerusalem Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority. It is reported that Israeli forces raided Awal's residence in the Silwan area south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem and arrested him. Awal was previously prohibited from entering the West Bank by Israeli authorities in January this year. The Palestinian National Authority issued a statement saying that the arrest of Awal is the latest in a series of restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities on Palestinian officials in Jerusalem. The Israeli military has not yet made any statements regarding this incident.
