According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, the Cryptocurrency Political Action Committee Fairshake invested 3.6 million dollars in supporting candidates during the primaries in Alaska, Florida, and Wyoming, with 4 out of 5 candidates winning. Democrats Lois Frankel, Republicans Sydney Gruters and Harriet Hageman won the primaries. In Florida's 24th district, Democrat Oliver Gilbert defeated her opponent, despite Fairshake associated with PAC investing over 2 million dollars in negative advertising. Gilbert accused Trump's tech billionaires allies of interfering in the primaries through encrypted funds. As of January, Fairshake PAC held 193 million dollars in funds and had already invested over 130 million dollars in supporting pro-cryptocurrency candidates during the 2024 electoral cycle.
