According to CoinMeta, Bank of America may be shifting its focus to Ethereum. Recent reports indicate that the bank is reducing its investment in Bitcoin while increasing its holdings of Ethereum. In the second quarter, Bank of America increased its spot Ethereum holdings by approximately $23.6 million. Although institutional demand for Ethereum is still lower than that for Bitcoin, data shows that Ethereum acquired over $102 million in Ethereum on Monday and Tuesday, while Bitcoin acquired $486.8 million during the same period. Additionally, the total value of Ethereum staked has grown significantly over the past eight months, with the total value of 2.0 Ethereum increasing from $35.9 million to $42.3 million, amounting to about $12.3 billion. Ethereum's exchange reserves also dropped to 15.07 million, the lowest level in many years, reflecting long-term investors taking advantage of discounted prices to accumulate.
