According to CoinMeta, in the second quarter of 2026, Bitcoin recorded its largest quarterly outflow of 77,033 BTC, with 13F documents indicating that this was mainly driven by retail investors. Institutional holders reduced their holdings for the third consecutive quarter, but only by 1,195 BTC. Non-13F holders accounted for the remaining 75,839 BTC.
