According to CoinMeta, Binance has announced the launch of the Binance Agent OS developer platform, which aims to connect compatible AI applications and AI agents with Binance's core functions through a user-controllable authorization mechanism. The platform integrates Binance’s API, Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance X402 payment and settlement primitives, Binance Skill Hub, as well as support for the model context protocol (MCP), and has also launched Binance MCP Server simultaneously. With this open standard, compatible tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, and VS Code allow users to access Binance’s liquidity and tools in a standardized manner without needing to manage API keys locally. Once authorized, these tools can perform operations such as reading market data, querying balances of independent smart contract sub-accounts, conducting spot/leverage/flash trading, and transferring funds within sub-accounts. Binance emphasizes that MCP Server does not support withdrawals to external addresses, and interactions must be completed within a dedicated sub-account isolated from the main account to ensure fund security.
