According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, Bill Gates' daughter may face up to 20 years in prison due to the fraudulent sales scheme of her startup company. Her browser extension utilized the “cookie stuffing” technology to solicit commissions from secret purchases that were never actually made, accounting for 51% of the company's total sales. After this feature was removed, daily revenue plummeted from $80,000 to less than $28,000. Under the Federal Telecommunications Fraud Act, “cookie stuffing” carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
