According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Caixin News, Starbridge Capital (sbcfx) experienced an abnormal margin call incident involving London gold (xauusd). The Hong Kong office of this platform is now empty of personnel, and investors are facing huge losses. On the evening of August 19th, Starbridge Capital's automated trading system generated a massive reverse short position within 1 to 3 seconds. Subsequently, the international gold price soared rapidly, resulting in a collective margin call for investors' accounts, with some accounts having their funds reduced to zero or incurring negative debts.
