According to CoinMeta, as reported by foreign media, Tony Seagey, the CEO of critical metals, stated that the company's tanbreez project in Greenland is still progressing as planned, with production of rare earths expected to begin within three years. Seagey said, "We are moving at full throttle, and I believe we will start production in 2029 as previously announced." He also mentioned that the company, which is listed in the United States, has received support from the local Greenlandic community and government officials. To alleviate concerns of local residents, Seagey noted that the company has purchased a cruise ship to accommodate the staff working at the mine site, which is expected to arrive at the project location within the next two months. Over the past 18 months, the tanbreez project has continued to attract attention, which is closely related to U.S. President Trump's efforts to secure key mineral resources, including rare earths, and his threats to acquire Greenland.
