According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Al Jazeera, Iran and Oman have reached a preferential trade agreement aimed at coping with U.S. economic sanctions. Rabihawi, the head of the West Asia office of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization, stated that the agreement is expected to be submitted to parliament for review next month. Iran has made progress in improving border and port infrastructure in order to expand trade with neighboring countries. Trump once referred to the financial pressure measures against Iran as "Economic Day D," and warned that any country that engages in trade with Tehran will face severe economic consequences.
