According to CoinMeta, its reporter Bradley Peak has been unable to access their Crypto.com exchange account, which has been in use for many years, since August 13th, and the funds within the account cannot be withdrawn. Customer service described the account as “rejected” and stated that there is no exchange account associated with the provided email address, but did not provide any specific reasons or a timeline for resolution. Crypto.com responded that the company must fulfill applicable legal and regulatory obligations and may restrict accounts during the review period, but refused to comment on individual user cases. The report mentioned that the platform subsequently requested Peak to provide an external wallet address to refund the funds, but as of August 21st, the funds had not yet been transferred. Since the subject of the report is a reporter from Beincrypto, the relevant information is currently based mainly on screenshots and communication records provided by them.
