According to CoinMeta, based on CoinMarketCap data, the price of Bitcoin broke through $79,000 on August 21, then slightly fell back to $77,000, with trading volume exceeding $70 billion in 24 hours. Analysis indicates that part of this increase is attributed to the liquidation of short positions worth $4 billion, which contributed to an improvement in market demand. Analyst Darkfost reported that Bitcoin's bull market momentum surpassed 60 on August 21, marking its first return to the bull market territory since October 2025.
