Ukraine attacks a Russian logistics center, causing a huge fire
2026-08-22 19:39:13
According to CoinMeta, Ukrainian drones struck the Ozon logistics hub in Chapaevsk, Samara Oblast for the first time, causing a massive fire to break out in the facility, which covers an area of about 135,000 square meters. Ozon confirmed this attack and suspended operations indefinitely, removing the affected goods from their platform. On the same night, drones also targeted the nearby Novogubyshevsk refinery. This is the first time in several weeks that Ukraine has successfully hit the Ozon network after launching attacks on the rival Wildberries warehouses. Both e-commerce platforms have been identified by Ukraine as military-civilian dual-use logistics systems that support the Russian military.
