According to CoinMeta, some American artificial intelligence companies have recently lowered the prices for using large models, as competition becomes increasingly fierce. The OpenAI Research Center in the United States announced on the 21st that it would reduce the benchmark prices of its cutting-edge large AI models for developers by more than 20%. The adjusted discounted prices will be valid for three months. In addition, OpenAI also lowered the prices of its other models, with mid-range models seeing a 20% reduction and low-cost models a 80% reduction. Google, part of Alphabet Inc., also released Gemini 3.7 Flash and simultaneously reduced its pricing, with the new prices being about half of the previous version. Some American media analysts believe that the open-source and pricing strategies of some Chinese artificial intelligence companies have put pressure on American companies.
