According to CoinMeta, Sandeep Nailwal, the CEO of the Polygon Foundation, stated that the team is formulating proposals for reforms in staking and token economics. These proposals include introducing a native staking mechanism in Polygon POS, allocating the full transaction fees to POL stakers, increasing staking rewards, providing additional benefits to POL stakers, and locking up SPOL to maintain liquidity. Polygon Labs will write the code and submit it to the community forum for approval.
